Have a great week Cadets! Welcome Back Cadets! I Hope everyone had a great Holiday. Now that we are back in JROTC, we have a lot of work to do before the end of the year. We have at least 5 more drill meets before the end of the drill season. EVERYONE that is ON the drill team needs to be at each practice. Drill practices are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7:00. We also have a JPA inspection on the 15th of March. The JROTC Ball is that weekend, 19th of March. This is the LAST week you can turn in your money for the BAll. The Ball is MANDATORY for ALL CADETS. it is the biggest grade you will get in JROTC for the whole year.
Hope EVERYONE had a GREAT break, The children's Holiday party is next week! ALL cadets need to start bringing in gifts for the kids. Keep in mind that the children are between the ages of 3 and 10. Please make sure that the gifts you bring are appropriate. That means DON'T bring gifts like guns, or any type of weapons. You never know what these kids have been through, even if they are small, so you don't want to trigger any bad memories by bringing gifts that would remind them of such things. Thanks
Cadets, the JROTC cadet ball is on March 19, 2016. the ball is MANDATORY for ALL cadets. Everyone needs to have their 90$ paid before Christmas break. that gives you 2.5 weeks. If you have a problem with anything, please go speak to Sgt. Primus or email her. [email protected]
the deadline to have the money is December 18, 2015. The Decatur High School JROTC community service Project is coming up on December 11, 2015. This community service is to be attended by ALL cadets. However, you if do not have a passing grade in any of your classes, or do not have a passing grade in JROTC, you will be asked/told to stay, by Sgt. Primus, and/or Col. Richards. In order for this project to go as planned, we need ALL HANDS ON DECK!
